Job Purpose
Responsible for developing standards, and specifications for global/enterprise-level and site-level security systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate their success working in fast-paced environments, staying fluent with state-of-art and emerging technologies, as well as fully leveraging cybersecurity and smart city technologies to enhance security and law enforcement operations.
3- Key Duties and Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities 1 Deliver department’s strategic plans (department vision, policy, key performance indicators, strategy, structure) Build and lead two units: County Security Engineering Unit and Private Development Security Engineering Unit 2 Lead the development of county policy for security systems engineering, supported by an efficient implementation process and standard specification leveraging modern methods and technologies.. 3 Lead a team of security engineering professionals responsible for planning, design, implementation and ongoing support of security systems of high complexity to fulfil the business needs. 4 Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on security and law enforcement aspects of smart city initiatives, identifying potential risks and developing solutions to mitigate those risks 5 Design, deliver, enhance security solutions, create prototypes, manage Proof of Concept and drive deployment and adoption 6 Review and create IT and security system designs, solutions and proposals 7 Perform market research on urban smart technology for security and law enforcement, and establish approved vendor list 8 Maintain situational awareness of the current cyber threat landscape, with a focus on potential impacts to AlUla and the region 9 Lead, define, develop and deliver end-to-end innovative security solutions 10 Deliver site-specific tactical plans and budgets (staff models and deployment strategies) 11 Sustain a holistic and comprehensive understanding of applicable legal and corporate requirements and ensure compliance. Managerial Responsibilities 1
Provide input to the sector’s strategy from the Department's or Section's perspective in line with RCU overall vision and mission.
Job Description
Develop the Department's or Section's objectives, KPIs, annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets. 3
Contribute to the preparation of the Department's or Section's annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section. 4
Implement and execute the Department's or Section's policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPI’s are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored. 5
Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the Department
