Job Purpose

Coordinate and manage AlUla’s events and festivals calendar, covering the full planning cycle from concept development to execution. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver standout programs that align with AlUla’s cultural and tourism objectives.


Key Accountabilities

Functional Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the ideation of new events or programming concepts based on market trends, audience insights, and destination strategy.

  • Support the planning and execution of assigned events or festivals in coordination with internal teams and external partners.

  • Draft detailed RFPs (Requests for Proposals) for event and festival offerings, manage the procurement process, and track progress against milestones.

  • Lead coordination with internal departments (execution, marketing, visitor experience, etc.) and external stakeholders (vendors, artist teams, etc.).

  • Develop and maintain detailed project tracking reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and post-event evaluations with key learnings.

  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure event programming effectiveness, procurement efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all programming and planning activities, ensuring regular updates to leadership.

  • Support budgeting and financial planning in collaboration with the Finance and Procurement teams.


Job Requirements

Requirement Details
Academic Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Events Management, or a related field
Work Experience Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Other Requirements - Expertise in contractor management, safety compliance, and operational optimization.
- Experience in managing visitor destinations, cultural sites, or hospitality operations is preferred.
