Oversee the development and facilitate the filming environment in AlUla, promote and developing the production and operation by establishing specific programs and initiatives that drive skills development and enhance economic growth of the sector. |

Functional Responsibilities |
|
1 |
Oversee and contribute on all aspects of Film AlUla’s strategy and operations. |
2 |
Consolidates insights also KPIs and strategy development of the film sector - quarterly and yearly, identify gaps, and recommends improvement opportunities |
3 |
Oversee and submit the Department's annual budget for approval taking all planned activities and necessary investments into consideration by monitoring the financial performance. |
4 |
Maintaining knowledge of international best practices and ensuring that implemented in Film AlUla operational activity. |
5 |
Liaises with the marketing department to promote training programs, business development events and initiatives to enable the sector growth as well as the community’s economic development. |
6 |
Oversees all aspects of Film AlUla Production Support |
7 |
Representing Film AlUla at cross-departmental and external meetings/events (national and international) |
8 |
Oversee reporting and updates related to production and any other high-level reporting requested |
9 |
Oversees the development and execution of training, skill building initiatives that enhance the skills of the employees as well as the community through advancement opportunities (e.g. academic scholarships and on-the-job training) to improve the socio-economic welfare of the community as well as to increase skills levels within the organization. |

Oversees the establishment and application of initiatives that integrate the community within the identified economic growth opportunities (e.g. job creation and investing in SMEs). |
Managerial Responsibilities |

1 |
Contribute to the sector’s short-and long term strategy from the Department's perspective in line with RCU overall vision and mission. |
2 |
Develop the Department's strategy, objectives, and KPIs annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets. |
3 |
Prepare and submit the Department's annual budget for approval taking all planned activities and necessary investments into consideration by monitoring the financial performance. |
4 |
Oversee the development, maintenance, implementation and adherence of the department policies and procedures as well as the overall performance of the department and ensure KPI’s are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored. |
5 |
Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the sector in consultation with the Sector Executive. |
6 |
Direct the Department's connection to its customers, whether internal or external, to ensure customer needs are met effectively. |
