2- Job Purpose

Manage the plan, design, build and operate the priority Sports that are deemed to be funded and developed by the Royal Commission for AlUla, manages the operations of all partnership projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

1

Manage the plan, design, build and operate the priority sports that are deemed to be funded and developed by the Royal Commission for AlUla

2

Develop sports assets business models, management models and contractual agreements with operators

3

Assess the current state of professional sports in AlUla inclusive of AlUla Football club in terms of quality

levels

4

Develop and build partnerships and agreements with government entities, developers, investors, etc. for

projects related to sports sector and assets in AlUla

5

Manage and develop relationships with a wide variety of sports partners and clients

6

Oversee and organize sports competitions and tournaments

7

Develop and manage commercial agreements and sponsorships pertaining to sports assets and sports events

8

Manage and coordinate with relevant internal stakeholders for investments and marketing

9

Develop and execute marketing strategies to maximize partner and client engagement

10

Deal with all stakeholders related the sports sector including but not limited to the sports committee,

Saudi sports Federation, Ministry of sports

Managerial Responsibilities

1

Contribute to the sector’s short-and long term strategy from the Department's perspective in line with

RCU overall vision and mission.

Develop the Department's strategy, objectives, and KPIs annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets.

Prepare and submit the Department's annual budget for approval taking all planned activities and necessary investments into consideration by monitoring the financial performance.

Manage the development, maintenance, implementation and adherence of the department policies and procedures as well as the overall performance of the department and ensure KPI’s are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored.

Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the sector in consultation with the Sector Executive.

Direct the Department's connection to its customers, whether internal or external, to ensure customer needs are met effectively.

 

 

 

 

 

 

4- Job Requirements

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant (Master’s Degree preferred)

Work Experience

  • 10 years of relevant experience with 5 years in a managerial role

Other Requirements

  • Written and Oral proficiency of English language.
  • Excellent communication skills.
