  1. Job Purpose

To manage the preparation of operational plans and ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct insufficient operating results, and to manage the design and initiation of community engagement programs and initiatives that are targeted for the local community in AlUla and to lead these programs and initiatives to ensure related ESD KPIs are impacted.

 

 

  1. Key Duties and Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibilities

1

Provide input to the sector’s strategy from the Department's or Section's perspective in line with RCU overall vision and mission.

Develop the Department's or Section's objectives, KPIs, annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets.

Contribute to the preparation of the Department's or Section's annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section.

Implement and execute the Department's or Section's policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPI’s are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored.

Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the Department or Section in consultation with the Sector Executive or (Executive) Director.

Functional Responsibilities

Ensure proper direction to the design and execution of programs, initiatives, and forums for engaging the local community in AlUla.

Manage community engagement programs such as Hammayah, Coordination Council, and voluntary.

Manage the setting of goals and metrics to ensure effective implementation of programs and forums.

Manage the planning of initiatives and activities for the involvement of local communities in socially-responsible programs (for e.g. environment protection, volunteering etc.).

Manage and ensure success of community engagement programs and forums and take course corrections as needed in order to meet the established goals.

Manage the development and support of different NGOs in AlUla to ensure the main objectives for that NGOs are met.

Manage the diagnosis of community engagement needs and requirements and provides solutions around them.

Manage the assessment of the quality of the programs being executed, ensuring compliance with community engagement objectives.
