  • Job Purpose


Lead the planning and development of the vision, objectives, strategies, action plans, standards, and policies related to the general services of RCU, including purchase of equipment, property management, telephone services, communications, etc.., as well as ensuring that the employees are receiving the efficient and reliable general services they need in their daily duties.


  • Key Duties and Responsibilities 


  1. Develop the vision, objectives, strategies, and action plans related to the general services processes and procedures of RCU, including the purchase of equipment, property management, telephone services, communications, etc.., in addition to monitoring th
  2. Develop and create new policies and standards related to the general services procedures of RCU, in addition to ensuring their proper implementation, for the continuous improvement and enhancement of these procedures and activities.
  3. Lead the selection of contracted services, and lead the vendor negotiations of needed services agreements, in addition to guiding the logistics related to the  organizational events in coordination with the relevant functions.
  4. Lead and guide the determination of needed general services' requirements of the offices, and lead the provision of these requirements' supplies, in line with a cost-effective procurement plan.
  5. Create the procedures and methods needed to improve the services being provided to employees, and ensure resolving the employees’ queries of general services, and the administrative and procurement related matters.
  6. Ensure consistency in the processes and procedures deployed in the operational delivery of general services across all offices and employees of RCU, in addition to providing the required recommendations and suggestions.
  7. Lead the coordination and provision of the general services, including the purchase of equipment, property management, telephone services, communications, etc..
  8. Ensure that all  properties of the general services department are correctly accounted for and reported, by maintaining records and documents for all new acquisitions and dispositions of these properties, in accordance with the RCU regulations.
  9. Lead the execution of the operations of general services within the facilities and offices of RCU, and ensure that appropriate arrangements are in place to be properly maintained and serviced, in coordination with the facilities management.
  10.  Liaise with the facilities management department for the detection of any faults, damages, and breakdowns in the properties within the offices, and contact the related service providers and monitor the maintenance accordingly.
  11. Lead the implementation of the day-to-day monitoring of vendor operations and performance, to ensure their full compliance with the standards established within the service agreements.
  12. Lead the documentation and archiving operations related to the general services, in addition to leading the translation process through outsourcing.
  13. Establish, promote and maintain strong relations with the key stakeholders, external advisors, and relevant parties, and maintain continuous communication with them in order to achieve the department goals and objectives.
  14. Review the international best practices related to the general services processes and procedures, in addition to ensuring their proper implementation and the adoption of suitable activities, according to the department strategies.


  • Job Requirements:


Academic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, project management, or operations management (Master Preferred).

Work Experience
8 years of relevant experience.

Other Requirements 
Written and Oral proficiency of English language.
