  1. Job Purpose

Lead the repair degraded ecosystem, designing and implementing ecosystem restoration projects and educating the public on conservation and ecology. Leads the development and dissemination of restoration information.


  1. Key Duties and Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities


Leading and supporting ecological restoration and nature based solution to restore degraded aird ecosystem.


Lead the plan, initiate, and lead large scale ecosystem restoration projects in AlUla nature resereves.


Identifying, developing, and securing inivotive technolgies and tools for ecological restoration of nature resereves and areas beynod nature reserves in AlUla.


Provide inputs to the developemnt of the stratgery and action plan for ecosystem restoration and afforestation at AlUla.


Lead the data colection, analyzing ecogolgical restoration data, and lead the design and the development of scintific manuscripts in ecosystem restoration.


Collaborate with other RCU departmnets to create and implement ecosystem restoration actvities and projetcs.


Lead communication with ecosystem restoration projects partners to ensure reporting of projects progress and project’s success.


Designing and implementing ecosystem restoration projects beynod nature reserves and educating the public on conservation and ecology.


Provide inpust to the system managmnet plans of nature reserves to enusure their sustinable development.


Leads the development and dissemination of ecosystem restoration information both at local and global level.


Work closely with international organizations to obtain recognition for the ecolgoical restortion projects and ecosystem program at AlUla. 


Develep and submit monthly and annual reports to the administration/department.


Perform any other job related duties as required by the direct Manager.
