Job Purpose

Manage the development of sector plans and key performance metrics to develop the sector and enable the achievement of RCU overall strategy.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate, assess, and track the performance of the sector against set metrics and objectives in order to ensure high customer satisfaction and quality services that contribute to achieving the sector and RCU’s strategy.

 

  1. Develop the sector’s plan and key performance metrics and enable the achievement of RCU overall strategy.

 

  1. Present sector related progress reports showcasing the sector’s main achievements and highlighting key challenges and potential risks to ensure that RCU leadership stay abreast of the sector’s performance, activities, and updates.

 

  1. Monitor and report on progress towards strategic objectives and KPIs.

 

  1. Manage and analyze performance data to identify trends and report key performance indicators results for management reports.

 

  1. Identify opportunities to continuously improve results.

 

  1. Perform any job-related activities as requested by the line Manager.

 

Managerial Responsibilities

  1. Provide input to the sector’s strategy from the Department's or Section's perspective in line with RCU overall vision and mission.

 

  1. Develop the Department's or Section's objectives, KPIs, annual operational plans and ensure plan execution is meeting the targets.

 

  1. Contribute to the preparation of the Department's or Section's annual budget and monitor the financial performance of the Department or Section.

 

  1. Implement and execute the Department's or Section's policies and procedures. Oversee the overall performance of the section and ensure KPI’s are well developed, cascaded, communicated and monitored.

 

  1. Ensure effective staffing, professional development and deployment of staff of the Department or Section in consultation with the Sector Executive or (Executive) Director.

 

Job Requirements

Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant field (Master’s Degree Preferred)

Work Experience

6 years of relevant experience with 2 years in a managerial role

Other Requirements

Written and Oral proficiency of English language.

Excellent communication skills.

Project Management skills.

Decision-making ability and leadership skills
